The question of what to do this weekend is always on your mind. Sometimes going to Cheddar’s and the movies can get a little mundane and redundant. There has to be more out there than the typical hangout spot for someone who’s trying to stay away from the club scene. After all, we’re called to be in but not of this world right?

Actually they are not "christian" hangout spots. They are just spots that non-christian and christian people can hangout, if they choose to.
Right, but I think the point he is trying to make is that these are good places that christians can go to, to have a good time, rather than being tempted to go to the club, or parties. y'know?
