Christian flash mob praises in public

Just over 2,000 people from Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas gathered to dance and contribute to charity…ala ‘flash mob’ style. With an original song sung by their church praise group, the Houston Church gathered to praise God and share the message of Easter.

With more than just fun in mind, the flash mob group named this event “Dance Your Shoes off”. At the end of the song each participant left a brand new pair of shoes on the field to be donated to those who have none.

The inspiring song titled “Rise Up” is an original song produced by Second Baptist Church and sung by church member Lauren James Camey. Second Baptist is a mega church of 53,000 members with 5 different locations to attend in Texas. Reaching out through big events and small groups, the Church abounds with gifted and talented individuals.

If you love the song, you can click into iTunes to download it via the Second Baptist Church iTunes link: Rise Up

The video is at the left of this column but you can also check the video out on Godtube or at the Second Baptist Church website.
