Christian Fashion Week 2013 is not so much a "week" but a weekend, however, it still promises to deliver plenty of stylish, high profile events similar to fashion weeks held around the globe.
The festivities begin with a VIP reception on Friday night, and end with the main show on Saturday featuring nine designers, runway shows, exhibitors, stylists and a noted fashion speaker.
The vision of Christian Fashion Week is to create the world's first series of fashion shows and events taking into account Christian values such as modesty. .Although this inaugural event is only two days, the plan is to make it an annual happening and expand the number of days.
The VIP reception, which is limited to VIP ticket holders and event participants, begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 8th, and will be held at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa.
Doors for the main event and exhibit hall open at 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th, at LSA Hall, 4810 Howard Avenue, Tampa. Attendees will enjoy an interactive women-only swimwear segment, followed by the main show featuring everything from bridal gowns to evening wear, all with a modest flair.
Tickets are $80 for Friday's reception, which also includes front viewing seats for Saturday's shows; Saturday only is $45 online and $50 at the door, and includes the exhibit hall with vendors, a 6 p.m. women-only swimwear show, and a 6:30 p.m. main fashion show.
