"There is no good evidence for the existence of God nor anything supernatural." ~Bernie Dehler, atheist and former evangelical born-again Christian

On Mon. Feb. 17th, at 8 pm, Christian apologist Lenny Esposito will have a webchat with atheist (and former Christian) Bernie Dehler. Event details can be found here: . After the event, the replay will also be available on this YouTube channel: .

They will have a free-flowing discussion on the differences between the supernatural and natural worldviews. Given the facts of the world, which worldview makes the most sense? What are the points of agreement and disagreement?

Lenny started the ministry "Come Reason" in 1996 ( .) He says this was his motivation:

"The idea was to show people that you didn't have to surrender your intellect to believe in the Christian faith. The sheer continuity of thought and evidence for design in the Bible was always what excited me the most. Finding types and consistencies in the laws was a tremendous blessing; something I wanted to pass on to others... to get them as excited about the Scriptures as I have been."

In May 2012, Lenny Esposito debated Richard Carrier on the topic "Does God Exist?" at the University of California, Riverside. Richard Carrier is well known within the circle of Freethinkers, being the author of the book "Sense and Goodness Without God: A Defense of Metaphysical Naturalism."

Bernie Dehler is an atheist and former evangelical Christian, and has debated many Christians in the Portland area. Some of the Christians Bernie has debated include: national evangelist Eric Hovind, George Fox University Philosophy Prof. Phil Smith, Pastor Nathan Lewis, Pastor Ron Kincaid, author Dennis Marcellino, Christian radio host Rick Livingston, Prof. David McCorkle, Christian radio host and author Steve Gregg, Dr. Bart Rask, and young earth creationist Brandon Church. These debates can be freely viewed at this YouTube channel: .

Bernie Dehler is also the President of The Center for Philosophical Naturalism. To see other events sponsored by the Center for Philosophical Naturalism, click here: . They also have videos available on their free YouTube channel here: .
