Christian Dior showed their haute couture spring/summer 2012 collection today during Mode a Paris or Paris Fashion Week. Guests of the Christian Dior haute couture show arrived to the show carrying Christian Dior handbags and posed for pictures before entering Salons Christian Dior for the haute couture runway show. The haute couture show from Christian Dior offered couture clients ladylike details, vintage silhouettes, sheer fabrics, pops of tangerine, black and white ensembles as well as summer whites and neutrals.
Christian Dior created the most divine designs a couture client could want for the spring 2012 season. The ensembles, dresses and gowns featured a mix of ladylike, body-conscious silhouettes as well as layered full skirts. The entire collection offered a throwback to the 1940’s, 1950’s and 1960’s.
The color palettes from Christian Dior’s haute couture collection for spring 2012 offered black/white combinations, white with light neutrals and pops of tangerine; the color of 2012. There was also a splash of plum with black, purple and all-black looks on the runway. The Christian Dior shoe collection offered patent leather, metallic’s and on-trend Lucite; adding a bit of modern seasonal spice to the otherwise vintage-inspired collection.
