There will be a free Christian/atheist debate in Beaverton on Wed. September 17, 2014 at 7 pm. All event details can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/np6838y . The title of the debate is "Where do morals come from?"

Representing a Christian viewpoint is Ben Clifton. Ben teaches part-time at an evangelical Christian seminary, and also leads two local Christian apologetics groups ("apologetics" is the name of the field of study in defending attacks against the Christian religion; it has noting to do with "apologizing").

Representing an atheist viewpoint is Bernie Dehler, former evangelical Christian and now atheist. Bernie is the author of a free online e-book called "Modern Science and Philosophy Destroy Christian Theology (Second Edition)" at this link: http://tinyurl.com/q6kz88k .

Both Ben and Bernie are employed full-time in the computer field, and do this as a voluntary effort. The debate features extensive time for audience interaction in Q&A, and will also be uploaded to this YouTube channel for later viewing: http://tinyurl.com/pcz2ak5 .
