Christian Adamek committed suicide following a streaking incident at a high school football game. On Oct. 14, the Christian Post reported that Adamek killed himself after he found out that criminal charges were being brought against him by the local court system.
"Adamek streaked across the football field during a September 27th football game against Grissom High School. While many laughed off the prank and chalked it up to youthful indiscretion, law officials were not so amused. Adamek was disciplined by the school district and faced legal action by the Madison County court system," the Christian Post reports.
Christian Adamek faced expulsion from his school and having his name added to the state's sex offender registry -- at age 15. Adamek couldn't handle the consequences and many believe he was ashamed and scared. It's unknown if he suffered from depression but it sounds like his suicide was in direct relation to the punishments that he was facing.
"Remember to smile; don't be afraid to do something goofy and remember the consequences of those actions. Ask for help when you need it. Ask for help if you think your friends need it if you don't know what to do; be quirky, be happy, be smart," said Adamek's mother.
Christian Adamek was a bright kid and many say he was sweet and funny. It sounds like he had a lot of friends and a bright future ahead... if it wasn't for the bad choice to streak... and then to end his life.
