As announced in Christian Activities goes offline for upgrades, Nashville's oldest inter-denominational publication, Christian Activities, went offline on January 31, 2012 for an upgrade. Now the arts and entertainment website is back up and bigger and better than ever.
New navigation tools make searching the site and find older content much easier than before, while the overall look of the site has been enhanced with a wider display area.
The new site is still undergoing some tweaking as most links to old articles no longer work with the new URLS and are having to be updated by hand. In addition, some remaining articles need to manually placed in the correct categories. The site welcomes visitors while it undergoes its final facelifts, and the Christian Activities worldwide events calendar is now accepting free listings.
Founded as a free one-page concert calendar at Nashville's Koinonia Christian Book Store in the late 1980s, Christian Activities was formally launched in Oct. of 1992 as the 4-page Christian Activities Newsletter before growing into Christian Activities Magazine in the mid 90s when the publication also went online. Christian Activities celebrates its 20th year in 2012.
