Chrissy Teigen shares supermodel secrets, from low carb diet to workouts

Imagine reigning as a top supermodel while having a virtual love affair with food. It sounds impossible, but Chrissy Teigen is revealing how she succeeds in an occasional feast while slipping sleekly into fabulous fashions. From her experience with the Master Cleanse weight loss diet to her push for a perfect posterior, Chrissy is now sharing all her secrets, reported Time magazine on August 7.

When she's dieting, Chrissy admits that it's not easy to resist temptation. "I looked at a Wheat Thin one day and got teary-eyed. My mouth was watering."

But in general, Chrissy believes that when she's craving something such as fast food, she deserves to indulge. "If I’m going to eat fast food, I’m going to McDonald’s. I don’t need to pretend," she declared.

The world's most famous figures are known for their derrieres. But measuring up to Beyonce's butt or Jennifer Lopez's caboose isn't easy.

"I have a little half-Asian butt, and the more I work out, the more I try to get it bigger, it’s just going to get flatter and harder," mourned Chrissy. Despite the challenge to achieve the perfect posterior for the bikinis that she often models, Chrissy generally avoids obsessing about diets.

But when she does decide to set a weight loss goal, Chrissy goes for the ultimate plan known as the Master Cleanse lemonade diet. It consists of a mixture of water, Grade B organic maple syrup with lemon juice and cayenne pepper, designed to help you "detox" and "maintain energy," reported E News on August 7.

Although she dislikes her derriere, Chrissy boosted her booty image when she posed topless with Nina Agdal and Lily Aldrige on the cover of Sports Illustrated's 2014 Swimsuit Issue. That cover shot resulted in an explosion on Twitter, where her followers adore her food-focused tweets served with a generous helping of humor.

In general, Chrissy follows a low carb diet. She's an amateur chef, concocting her own low carb recipes, according to Shape magazine. Some of her favorites include Thai Beef Salad, Baked Eggs in Ham Cups, Grilled Portobello with Arugula and Tomato and Stuffed Red Bell Peppers.

As for her workouts? Chrissy participated in an "Ask Me Anything" session on Reddit that included that question.

"I work out very hard for a very brief period of time before a shoot. Maybe a week before and then never again until the next one (I don't condone this, just being honest here haha)," she said candidly.
