This is the year for supermodel Chrissy Teigen. Besides being a Sports Illustrated cover girl, the wife of soulful crooner John Legend is now the the face of XOXO's Fall 2014 national ad campaign starting next month. XOXO is known for making runway inspired collections at affordable prices and is the leading junior brand for retailers.
The campaign is an evolution of the iconic "Hugs & Kisses XOXO" ads that were launched in the 90's. Previous ads featured supermodels like Tyra Banks, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer and most recently Lily Aldridge. It includes photographs along with a video that shows Chrissy's fun, playful personality during the shoot. "I've been a longtime fan of XOXO, so when they approached me to be the face of their Fall campaign it seemed like a natural fit," Chrissy said on-set. The video's soundtrack will be set to the popular song "Melt" by Polish synthpop band Kamp!.
The XOXO/Chrissy Teigen campaign launches in August in the September issues of Cosmopolitan and People StyleWatch. The Behind-the-scenes video and additional creative will be available on the newly launched XOXO.com later this month.
