Chris Young hospitalized from kitchen injury: Will he perform at LP field?

Fans of Chris Young were disappointed today when he was unable to do a four hour autograph session today during CMA Music Fest. The true fans know that it is really important to him to be there, but he just couldn't do it. On Friday, Country Weekly shared about his injury that happened while cooking himself dinner at home. He cut his left hand while cooking dinner and ended up at the hospital. None of the reports say how bad his hand is at this time.

He was advised by the doctors to cancel his four hour autograph session that he does every year for fans. Chris was simply following the doctors orders. This was supposed to happen today. He is scheduled to play at LP Field on Saturday night and at this time he is still planning to do this performance. He is performing along with Keith Urban, Sara Evans, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker and Florida Georgia Line.

There is no news that Chris Young was released from the hospital. Fans are assuming he is out but at the same time the reports do not say he was treated and released just simply that he went and that they told him to cancel for today. His fans are hoping that this doesn't mean that he is still dealing with the injury at the hospital. All that really matters to his true fans is that he heals up and is doing fine. They are all hoping for a speedy recovery.

Chris Young was on Twitter last night retweeting a picture of himself with the Doobie Brothers. This appears to be right before he went into the hospital and he has not said a word about it since then. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and can make it to the big performance tomorrow night at LP Field. If Chris can't make it, he will let fans know as soon as he knows.

Update: Chris Young's website shared that he had to undergo surgery and will not be able to perform tonight at LP Field. He is expected to make a full recovery.
