Fans of Chris Young love to hear his new interviews. On March 15 in Australia, ABC posted this great interview that John Morrison did with Chris about his music and more. He is on tour in Australia for the first time right now.
The interview starts with the end of Chris's new single "I Can Take It From There." He talks about coming from a country music background from his grandfather. He played the guitar and sang. Chris says he did some jazz music and classical, but he always sounds country.
He did some construction work with his dad. Chris always knew that he was going to do music though and so did his parents. He did 100-150 shows a year when he was in college. He lived in Texas for a year singing lead for a band and just making a living doing country music.
Chris says he had a few moments doubting if he would ever get his break, but he never thought about giving it up. This is what he has always wanted to do.
This is a great interview with Chris where he talks about winning "Nashville Star" and having five #1 songs in a row. Make sure you listen to it on ABC to hear what he has to say.
