Actor-comedian Chris Tucker returns to the big screen after a five year absence in the upcoming comedy-drama “Silver Linings Playbook”. The Georgia native appeared on the "Today" show Wednesday morning to discuss the film which co-stars Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. In the movie Cooper plays a former teacher and mental patient who‘s trying to get his life back together while Tucker plays his friend Danny.
“It’s a fun part. It’s a great part because I get to show a serious side of myself but the character’s fun got a lot of depth.”
Tucker added it was like being in a dream to work with screen legend De Niro. When asked about another “Rush Hour” film, he told the morning show crew he and co-star Jackie Chan want to do another one.
