GRAMMY-Award winning Christian recording artist and multi-platinum-winning worship leader Chris Tomlin has reached a milestone and set a record in the process. Tomlin’s latest album, "Burning Lights," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, which is only the fourth time in history that a gospel music album has entered that chart at No. 1. (CCM)
Tomlin, who is known for his worship songs including “How Great Is Our God,” “Holy Is the Lord” and “Jesus Messiah,” released "Burning Lights" shortly after leading worship at the Passion 2013 conference in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome. He was also a part of the recent "Night of Hope & Healing" concert for Sandy Hook.
"Burning Lights" is the follow up to "And If Our God Is For Us..." Tomlin's 2011 Grammy® winner for Best Christian or Gospel Album. Tomlin was nominated again this year for the song "White Flag" from the live album "Passion: White Flag." "Burning Lights" also contains an all-new studio recording of "White Flag" as one of its 12 tracks. For more information, visit www.ChrisTomlin.com.
