A Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle tour might be in the works according to OMG.com on Feb. 28. It all started with the two comedians quipped about the possibility at New York City's Comedy Cellar on Wednesday morning.
Whether it is a joke or not is still unknown, but it would be a huge moment for fans of both men.
Dave Chappelle especially has been out of sight for a very long time. At one time, he was one of the hottest comedians in the world, but then at the height of his popularity he shut it down. Part of the reason he left the public eye was due to the fact that he felt "The Chappelle Show" was killing his creativity and making him unhappy due to the non-stop pace.
He did some standup after that and actually began to speak out about the comedy that made him famous, saying much of it was socially irresponsible. Since then, he has continued to do stand up but has pretty much faded from the public eye. A comedy tour with Chris Rock could do a lot to bring him back.
