Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle comedy tour talk (video)

My husband and I haven't seen Dave Chappelle live and in person and in concert since the night in 2006 when he rolled on up the highway northward in Ohio to The Flats in Cleveland to entertain an eclectic mix of us for the evening.

So imagine how nice it was to here that Chris Rock joined Dave Chappelle at the Comedy Cellar in New York on Wednesday for a surprise duo stand-up routine, wherein they talked about potentially touring together.

That would be amazing.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rock riffed on tons of popular subjects, but balked at jumping on a tour without a ton of notice:

"After next Tuesday, I'm free for like 11 years," said Chappelle.

Watch another video clip by Kevin J. Williams, who describes it as “Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Bill Bellamy and Marlon Wayans were on stage together after Chappelle did about 30 minutes. They told stories and let the audience in on their memories. This was spectacular for fans of comedy.”

“This video is simply after they were done (so no actual material by the comics), and Questlove mentioned how important this evening was for him,” Williams writes. “If Chappelle, Rock & others do a tour together...it would be a treat for many fans of both the art form and artists.
The "detailed" article of what it was like to be in the audience is here:”
