According to Hit Fix on Nov. 4, NBC "Parks and Recreation's" Chris Pratt, who will be portraying Star-Lord in "Guardians of the Galaxy", expressed that he is to the point of total excitement that the public will seriously enjoy James Gunn's film. For Pratt, it is indeed difficult to share such information about a film that's to debut the following year.
Apparently the actors and crew are rather excited about what they've accomplished. The analogy given is comparable to a Christmas present that's waiting to be opened, but it's something that they have to sit on until next year at the movie release.
Knowing what Pratt knows, he had expressed in jest that he "might kill himself" if the public does not enjoy. After all his pent up excitement should not be for naught and if it is, it would be good to at least pretend to like the film.
James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy" is set to be released Aug. 1, 2014.
