The stars of the highly-anticipated movie “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” came out from the shadows and onto the red carpet at the movie's LA premiere on Wednesday night (January 15, 2014) at the TCL Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.

Pine plays CIA analyst Jack Ryan. The popular Ryan character stars in several movies based on Tom Clancy books including “The Hunt for the Red October,” “Clear and Present Danger,” “Patriot Games” and “The Sum of All Fears. He expressed his feelings to The Hollywood Reporter on reviving the spy character once played by the talented group of fellow actors; Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck.

“I always feel very lucky that I get this shot,” said Pine. “I think at first it was a bit intimidating but when you surround yourself with good talented people you know that you’re supported.”

Keira Knightly, who plays Cathy, Jack Ryan's Fiance in the film sported a white-trimmed navy Chanel dress that featured white bows and a matching built-in belt that showed off her very trim waist.

Additional stars in attendance included co-star Kevin Costner, director Kenneth Branagh and guests Alex Kingston and Randy Newman among others.
