Former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Chris Kattan was arrested around 1 a.m. on Monday morning February 10, on DUI charges following a car accident on the 101 Freeway according to Hollywood News Daily reports.
Kattan reportedly rear-ended a Dept. of Transportation truck with his Mercedes after crossing into a cone blocked section of the freeway.
Reports reveal that moments before the accident the police received a call from a woman reporting a Mercedes "weaving all over the road at low speeds."
Chris Kattan, 43, was uninjured, and there was no one in the other vehicle at the time of the crash.
CHP arrived on the scene, with Kattan allegedly admitting to prescription drug use, but it was nt specified what type of medication Kattan was using at the time of his arrest.
Official reports from the CHP described Kattan as "appearing out of it " as he was transported and booked on DUI at a nearby Van Nuys Jail.
Kattan is best known for his long run on the popular "Saturday Night Live" show, and his popular hit comedy in 1998 "A Night At the Roxbury."
Chris Kattan is currently working on three new films all in production as this time.
