Sean Lowe's season of ABC's “The Bachelor 2013” is off to a strong start, and viewers watched new frontrunners pop up in Monday's episode. As usual, Chris Harrison is sharing his take on everything that went down. What did Harrison have to share with TV Guide on Jan. 21?
Chris says that a lot of the bachelorettes are falling for Sean Lowe quickly, because he's a great guy who really makes the ladies feel special. While some viewers may have thought Lesley Murphy was talking about “falling in love” a little too soon, it seems she's not the only one on the fast track to capture Sean's heart.
AshLee Frazier's date with Sean also went well, and her opening up about her childhood really touched the hearts of viewers. However, some wonder if it could all be a little too intense. Harrison says that Lowe is really looking for someone who can “let go,” and Frazier's intensity will become “a constant question” for Sean despite how much he likes her.
As for Kacie Boguskie being let go before the rose ceremony, Chris Harrison says he wasn't surprised. Chris has said all along that Sean was a bit wary of Kacie coming onto the show, as Lowe wondered about her true intentions. When she threw herself into the middle of girl drama this week, Harrison thinks Sean utilized that as an excuse to go ahead and send her home. While Sean tried to give Kacie the benefit of the doubt, Chris notes that “He wasn't looking for a reason to keep her, he was looking for a reason to let her go.”
Viewers have seen that Tierra LiCausi seems to be at the center of all the drama this season, and Chris Harrison teases that it's even worse next week. Harrison notes that the more Sean likes her, “the more attention she gets and the more pissed off the girls get.” There have been signs, however, that Sean doesn't stay enamored with Tierra that much longer this season.
What did you think of Monday's episode? Tune in to episode 4 of ABC's “The Bachelor 2013” Monday, Jan. 28 to see two more one-on-one dates and a roller derby group date that apparently gets pretty wild.
