It is unknown at this time whether or not Dorner has any hostages still captured, however, two women who were in the home with Dorner were evaluated and have been treated by paramedics and released, not requiring additional treatment at this time.

They are showing live pictures interspersed with pre-recorded videos in order to protect the safety of the police involved and not give away tactical locations in case Dorner is watching the news.

"I hope they catch him," reports one local Cleveland-area viewer of the live coverage of the standoff.

Deputies responded to reports of a stolen vehicle in the manhunt for the murder suspect.

Many schools are on lockdown in the Big Bear area and San Bernardino mountain area, with various lockdown restrictions being lifted for specific schools.

CNN also has live coverage of the melee intermittently, and without audio at times:

No one from LAPD is giving updates at this time, however the incident commander on the scene will be releasing information about a citywide potential lockdown as soon as possible.
