Chris Cuomo is moving from '20/20' to CNN to host a morning show

Chris Cuomo, the current anchor of ABC's “20/20,” will be making a move to CNN very soon. According to Huffington Post on Jan. 29, Cuomo will be hosting a new morning show on CNN.

This announcement came from CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker. Zucker annouced that Cuomo will have a major role in a new CNN morning show. He will also be working across the network anchoring and reporting on major events.

Cuomo definitely has a work history of morning television. He was the news anchor on “Good Morning America” for three years before he moved to “20/20.”

According to TMZ, Cuomo will be a co-host with Erin Burnett. This report has not yet been confirmed. There is also the question of what will happen to Soledad O’Brien who is the network’s current morning host.

According to the press release from Jeff Zucker, Chris Cuomo will start working at CNN on Monday. He will not begin anchoring the new CNN morning show until the Spring. Soledad O’Brien was not mentioned in the press release.
