As the "Glee" star posted on Instagram, "Thank you so much for your PCA votes!!! As promised, here is a video of me victory dancing with my cat!"

At the January 8, 2014 People's Choice Awards, Colfer took home an award for Favorite Comedic TV Actor, beating out his on-screen fiance, Darren Criss in the process. This was Colfer's second consecutive win in this category.

The 23-year-old actor gave an effusive acceptance speech, thanking the fans who spoiled him with awards, followed him on Twitter, followed him into bookstores, film festivals, and even into public bathrooms. He also thanked the fans for "always drawing abs on me when you draw me naked."

His TV character, Kurt Hummel, has experienced tremendous growth over the last season and a half. After excelling at his Vogue internship, he successfully auditioned for a spot at NYADA, and later beat Rachel (Lea Michele) in a diva-off.

This season, Colfer gave a compelling performance during the Cory Monteith tribute when he reminded viewers that how he lived was more important than how he died.

Colfer was not the only "Glee" star to come out a winner last night. Co-stars Lea Michele and Naya Rivera took home an award for Favorite TV Gal Pals.

Darren Criss congratulated his co-stars on their wins. As he tweeted, "Congrats to my GLEE compadres @msleamichele @NayaRivera @chriscolfer! Thanks to all the fans for voting! Way I see it: if they win, I win :)"

Were you glad to see Colfer win his award? Did you enjoy his celebratory cat dance?
