Chris Colfer is a popular Glee star, but every year he comes to the award show, he can’t drink. On Sunday night the entertainer took a moment to make a toast on live television as he turned 21 and will be able to celebrate with the rest of the cast, if he wants, by drinking Champaign at the Golden Globe Awards.
Talking about the new age of 21 with Ryan Seacrest, the entertainer seemed delighted to now be old enough to actually have a glass of wine. Working hard in the business, it’s hard to believe he is only 21 as he works so hard for his character.
"I can drink at this show. This is a celebration," said Chris Colfer. Then Ryan Seacrest pulled out a small bottle of the bubbly to share with the actor “Oh Thank you so much. Good Stuff.”
The upcoming season of Glee is being called revolutionary. Making choices after school, the characters are bound to find out what life is like and take the audience on an emotional journey for the new storyline.
