Chris Brown, aka Breezy, is known for many things, but humility isn’t one of them. Apparently Breezy was so moved by Adele’s words of wisdom regarding his move to snub Frank Ocean at the Grammys, that Breezy took to Twitter on Thursday, Feb. 14 and thanked Adele for her honesty.
Adele gave Chris Brown a piece of her mind after he snubbed Frank Ocean's win on Sunday, Feb. 10 during the 55th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. “Pleasure to meet u @OfficialAdele I heard your words and thats all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB,” Chris Brown posted.
Breezy was referring to the moment that Adele apparently told him off for refusing to stand during the ovation that Frank Ocean received after Frank’s Grammy win for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Chris remained seated as Frank took to the stage to accept his first ever Grammy and refused to join his peers in the standing ovation. Watch the video HERE.
Adele, 24, could be seen staring across the auditorium at Chris Brown, 23, and shaking her head in disapproval. Shortly after the incident, Adele chastised Breezy for being a poor sport. Apparently Adele also took on the role as peacemaker, making sure to pose with both Chris Brown and Frank Ocean. Continuing to keep the peace, Adele posted a response to Chris Brown on Twitter: “Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!” Referring to a photo snapped of the two in which it looks like Adele is giving Chris a verbal spanking.
