Chris Brown became the latest paparazzi casualty today when his car was totaled after an alleged aggressive encounter with the celebrity picture seekers.
According to reports, four paparazzi vehicles were involved in the incident. The singer was alone in his car driving to a charity event at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles when two vehicles cut him off.
A rep for Brown released the following statement:
"The occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle. In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley at which point his was cut off by two additional vehicles. Chris' vehicle was totaled due to this aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi. He is okay."
Beverly Hills police confirmed that the accident did take place today. Ultimately Brown was able to make it to the charity event (see pictures above).
