Chris Brown mends fences with Meek Mill while Rihanna explains gun tattoo (Video)

Chris Brown met up with rapper Meek Mill at a nightclub in Charlotte, N.C., over the weekend, and supposedly made nice for the first time since the infamous club brawl last summer. In that bottle hurling fight, which was said to be over jealousy surrounding Rihanna, Meek Mill was alleged to have been one of the main instigators. Sources told TMZ yesterday that Chris and Meek shook hands and buried the hatchet for good. Also Brown’s on again girlfriend Rihanna explained her side torso gun tattoo in her latest interview, claiming it’s a sign of her strength.

Chris Brown and rapper Drake, and their respective entourages, clashed violently at W.i.P. club in New York last June. While it’s reported that Chris and Drake have yet to extend the olive branch, Friday night Brown and Meek did so when they met up at Cameo Nightclub.

Although witnesses claimed that Meek was on Drake’s side during the fiasco, he has denied any involvement. That’s not hard to comprehend given the physical injuries and the real and potential lawsuits involved.

Meanwhile in a related story of violence, Rihanna explains her a particular gun tattoo to British magazine Elle U.K., which is due on newsstands March 6. The “Diamonds” singer explains what the small image of a handgun etched into the right side of her torso means.

Rihanna got the new ink shortly after the 2009 Grammy weekend assault on her by Brown. “Everybody wanted to know what was happening in my life. Is she a drug addict? No. Is she an alcoholic? No. Is she a victim? No.

“That's why I got the gun. It was a symbol of strength. I'll never be a victim”, Rihanna asserts in her April issue interview, according to Zimbio.

Maybe Rihanna just wanted to send Brown a visual message.
