Over the past few days, rapper Chris Brown has been using Twitter to rant that his new CD, Graffiti, isn't available in some major stores - Wal-Mart in particular.

His tweets consisted of things like, ""im tired of this s***. major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. what the f*** do i gotta do," and later adding, "yeah i said it and i aint retracting s***. im not biting my tongue about s else..."

But now that a few days has past, his twitter account has completely disappeared. Brown had previously claimed that he visited a Wal-Mart in Connecticut, and that the store didn't have his albums on the shelves or stored in the back. However, that particular Wal-Mart has made a statement that they are, in fact, carrying the album - and so are the majority of Wal-Mart stores. Oops, looks like Brown spoke too soon, and decided to quit Twitter, before sticking his foot in his mouth again.

don't you have anything better to do than talk crap about chris brown? Your just anothr 1 out of every 10 people who hates Chris Brown . He is still selling out shows and his fans still love him . So do yourself a favor and stop being a hater . To be quite honest with you, EVERYONE hates haters, full of nothing but negative things to say . You must like him to some extent if you keep talking about him .

You are a whole week late reporting this. I know that the gossip blogs are thirsty becuz CB's twitter is gone and you no longer have the chance to pick at his tweets with a fine-tooth comb to find substance. 95% of his tweets was about his tour, music, daily public encounters and other trending topics.

Mind you, the fact that any Wal-Mart, Target or Best Buy doesn't carry his CD and they are supposed to according to a CB's distribution contract with Sony, then those stores are in BREACH of CONTRACT. And yes, there are still stores who are not stocking the CD. It has gotten to a point where CB fans don't care what the world says about him.

Oh my gosh, I'm getting just about sick of hearing about him AND Rihanna. Why can't we focus on more important things like the war or the financial crisis? Oh yeah that's right, it's because dumbass journalists like you are more worried about making money off of a situation that anybody can care less about now. I kid you not, if you keep going on about this next year a lot of people are going to be annoyed. If you don't want to move on than at least write articles about real domestic violence victims who get beat up every day. But lets just move on from this tired story, because bringing it up over and over is like beating a dead horse.

The best thing that ever happened to Mr Brown was to be separated from that abusive woman. What ever he does he do it in style it is not going to be much longer b4 he rises to the top again. Leave him alone the race is not for the swiftest but for he that endureth the most. Good lock chris

He's not a rapper. Chris is a singer. Maybe it was for the best that he deleted his twitter. He needs my privacy. I still support both Chris and Rihanna. I bought both of their albums. Why would I hold a grudge against someone that I don't know.

    lol @ Late Pass....fo'real!

This story is old....the media is thirsty now to diss CB now that his twitter is gone. Leave that kid alone already!! She's trying to move on, he's trying to do the same.

I bought the deluxe version of Graffiti...AMAZING!! =) It's a really good album.

I find it funny that people look at a pop culture examiner and expect to see real news. Also, the comments about CB and Rihanna are just retarded considering this post has no mention of her. I did no know he deleted his twitter account so regardless of when this actually happened, I learned something. That is all you can ask for from the examiner.

First of all Chris Brown is a R&B singer, not a rapper. You need
to get your facts right before you try to play writer, reporter, a****hole or what you people call yourselves these days. The Twitter incident happened more than a week ago. Don't you look stupid. Work must be really slow for you??? Find another story to write. CB FAN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • kells - another examiner 3 years ago

The incident did happen over a week ago and he is a singer, but I don't understand why some people comment on this story complaining about why the writer chose to write about this and not something more important. It says she's the pop culture examiner. She's going to write about what happens in "pop culture" and Chris Brown is a pop/r&b artist who used to date another pop star. If you really want more pertinent news, like financial and political issues etc. there's several hundred other examiners who write those type of articles on this site. Of course, there's always more important news besides pop news, but if people weren't talking about it no one would write about it. It's like getting made at OK! or People magazine for reporting about stars, that's their niche, they're not Time or CNN.
