Chris Brown lied? According to a report posted today at Reality TV Magazine, Chris Brown lied, allegedly to the Los Angeles Police Department, and they are not very happy about it. Sources say Brown lied about completing court ordered community service, which was part of his sentencing in a 2009 for the felony battery charge Brown caught for assaulting his girlfriend, Rihanna.
In all, the court ordered to complete 180 days of labor-oriented community service, and placed the entertainer on five-years probation. He was also ordered to attend a yearlong domestic violence class, but sources say Brown may have lied about completing his punishment. He just cannot seem to stay out of trouble can he?
When he was sentenced, Brown asked the Judge Schnegg if she would transfer his community service to Virginia, which she allowed. Brown’s attorney told the judge the singer had completed all 1,400 hours of his community service when the 23-year-old went before her again last fall.
A report says when “investigators with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office went to Virginia to review Brown’s work, they could find ‘no credible, competent or verifiable evidence that Defendant Brown performed his community labor as represented to the court.’”
After finding out Chris Brown lied about his probation, a 19-page motion was filed which states “no one from the Virginia Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Office ‘ever approved, scheduled, supervised, monitored, or verified any of the community labor reported’ to the court.” The motion requests Brown be required to do his community service in Los Angeles and to ‘modify the terms of his probation accordingly.’”
