Chris Brown kicked out of Malibu rehab and immediately arrested

Recording artist Chris Brown, who fell from grace after beating up former girlfriend Rihanna and eventually pleading guilty to her felony assault back in 2009, was evicted from his court-ordered drug rehab facility in Malibu, Calif., and then immediately arrested at the rehab center by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) on March 14.

An outstanding Los Angeles warrant issued for a probation violation still in effect from 2009 “related to assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats crimes” was all LASD needed to take Brown into custody, according to Hollywood Life.

LASD released a statement saying that Brown was arrested without incident on Friday and is being held without bail at downtown Los Angeles’ Inmate Reception Center of the Los Angeles County jail.

Although it’s not known exactly why Brown was booted out of his rehab facility, TMZ reported on March 14 that:

... Brown was thrown out of the rehab facility this morning, for violating "internal rules." We do not know precisely what Chris did, but we're told it did not involve violence or drugs.

Chris was caught having "an inappropriate relationship" with a female worker at the beginning of the month, but that is NOT why he was thrown out today.

After Brown pleaded guilty to his felony assault on Rihanna, he was sentenced to five years of probation and 1,400 hours of community labor. He was also receiving treatment for anger management.

In an effort to fulfill his community service obligations, Brown has been working on a highway cleanup crew around Los Angeles.
