Chris Brown defends Justin Bieber: 'He's just misguided'

Chris Brown does not believe that there is anything wrong with Justin Bieber. Speaking out in defense of the "Believe" singer Monday, April 1, Brown blamed press and photographers in addition to claiming that he's simply "misguided" right now.

"He's only 18, just like when I went through my situation. I was 18. I understand what he's going through," Brown shared with Hot 97 Monday.

As widely reported, Justin Bieber has had a few tough moments in the last month or so, including a scuffle with a photographer in London and a dispute with his neighbors. Nonetheless, Chris Brown thinks that he is just fine.

"He's not that kid. He actually loves his music. He's just misguided right now. The cameras are just getting (to be) too much," Brown explained, claiming that photographers do and say a lot for a picture. "The camera guys ain't always the nicest guys when you (are) going outside. They're gonna try and get a reaction."

Speaking from experience, Chris Brown believes the best thing to do is pray.

"You just got to pray for him. At the end of the day, I just pray for myself and pray for everybody. He's gonna get through it though. He got that ability," said Brown.

It's unclear what Justin Bieber has to say about being deemed misguided at this point in his life.

In related news, Chris Brown has released a music video for his latest single "Fine China." The single leads his forthcoming album, "X."
