It was a dance moment at the Grammys on Sunday night when Chris Brown, David Guetta, Lil' Wayne, Deadmau5, and Foo Fighters all were part of the 54th Grammy Awards paying respect to electronic music. Giving the audience a first look at an ever growing music genre, the stage had plenty of action going on to show America a new type of popular music.
In a segment that had more people on stage at the same time than any segment, the electronic music industry got a huge boost with the artists who have been noticed in the growing industry. Appreciated by the younger generations, the dance music had those fans ages 18 to 25 dancing their butts off during the performance.
While not everyone appreciated the newer type of music, the mixed reviews of the performance seemed to cut down a generational division with the older fans preferring to hear Paul McCartney while the younger fans loved the Chris Brown, David Guetta, Deadmau5, Foo Fighters and Lil' Wayne segment.
