Chris Brown crashes his car into a wall in Beverly Hills, reported by Yahoo! Movies on Feb. 10, 2013. The 23-year-old R&B singer told police who questioned him that he was trying to elude the paparazzi. The singer drove a black Porsche, and according to police Sergeant Kurt Haefs, the car was likely towed away. Brown was not charged or arrested in the incident.
The singer, whose album "Fortune" is nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, by crashing his car adds to the list of problems with paparazzi chasing stars. The most famous incident involved the death of Princess Diana, who died on Aug. 31, 1997 after the paparazzi were chasing her car. Her driver, who was speeding to free the paparazzi, was also cited as being negligent.
Recently, a paparazzo was struck and killed by a car while trying to take pictures of Justin Bieber's white Ferrari. Justin was not in his car at the time.
