Chris Brown channels Michael Jackson in cinematic 'Fine China' music video

R&B singer Chris Brown premiered the music video for his new single “Fine China” on Monday. The cinematic clip features Brown wooing his love interest with Michael Jackson-like moves while fending off some bad guys.

“Fine China” is the lead single from Brown's upcoming “X” album. While his past songs leaned heavily on electronic music, this new track finds the singer going back to basics with a more smooth R&B sound. Vocally, Brown is off the charts as he effortless switches to his falsetto and inserts some Jackson-like vocal mannerisms into the loving song.

The “Fine China” music video opens his a girl's parents forbidding her from seeing Brown. She disobeys them and gets picked up by the vintage-outfitted singer. As they make their down an alley toward the club, Brown puts the moves on his love interest like Jackson did in “The Way You Make Me Feel.” Chris hits his stride during the amazing dance sequences, which are aggressive and on-point. A battle does not even throw when he takes down the bad guys with some martial art choreography. The clip culminates to a showdown between the girl's dad and Brown, which does not get resolved. To be continued?

Brown looks to release his “X” album this summer.
