Chris Brown, known for his R&B music and troubles with the law, had more trouble with the law on Sunday morning in Washington, D.C. where he was charged with felony assault, according to a Yahoo! News report and other sources on Sunday.
Along with Brown, one of his body guards – Chris Hollosy -was taken into custody after a physical altercation with a third man just outside of the W Hotel at approximately 4:25 a.m., according to local police. The report states that Brown allegedly punched someone in the face and injuries were sustained in the altercation.
The musical entertainer is on probation after being convicted of domestic violence in a 2009 incident with singer Rihanna. It has been suggested that jail time may be in store for Brown since being arrested would likely be considered a violation of his probation status.
Recently, 24-year-old Brown was in trouble for having falsified legal documents by saying he completed 1,400 hours of community service which were required as part of his punishment after the domestic violence case with Rihanna. Two months ago, his probation was reinstated as he was given 1,000 hours of additional community service to serve. He has also been accused of committing a hit-and-run car accident in May of this year, but that case was dismissed.
Nov. 20 is when Brown is due back in court.
