Chris Brown and Rihanna snuggle at the 2013 Grammys, reported TMZ on Feb. 10, 2013 with a photo. Is their violent past in the past? In June 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault charges against Rihanna. He was sentenced to five years’ probation and six months of community service.
Brown has been in the news for other reasons this year. He's due in court on Feb. 16, because the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office claims he lied about performing the probation he was charged with in the Rihanna assault.
On Feb. 10, before the Grammys, Brown crashed his black Porsche into a wall, because he claimed the paparazzi were chasing him. He was not arrested or charged in the incident.
With this latest PDA display, Chris and Rihanna have apparently resumed their relationship, in defiance of the critics who dislike Brown for assaulting Rihanna. Looking at the history of Rihanna, one could say she has always done whatever she wanted despite critics. At the Grammys, she sported a softer look than in the recent past. The red hair has been replaced with long wavy hair in a more natural look.
