Singers Chris Brown and Rihanna are scheduled to attend the Grammy Awards 2013 show together, where both are nominated for awards, and Rihanna will perform several times during the night. Recently, the duo who has been confirmed to be dating again, reunited at a pre-Grammys party in Los Angeles.
The Owen Sound Sun Times reported on Feb. 10 that the two were seen at the pre-Grammy Awards party Saturday night, just hours after Brown had been in a car crash. The singer crashed his Porsche while trying to elude the paparazzi and escaped unharmed, with no arrests or citations made by police. Brown was able to walk away without injury and met up with Rihanna at the 2013 Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Awards Brunch at the Soho House in West Hollywood. The couple was photographed cozying up with one another and hugging.
The latest public reunion of the two as a romantic couple and their rumored plans to attend the Grammy Awards together comes about three years after their 2009 incident. During the incident, Brown assaulted Rihanna inside a car, which later led to his arrest and probation. The two broke up, but seemed to stay in touch and even collaborated on a few songs together over the past years. Now, just recently they have got back together as a couple. Brown was in court again this past week, with the judge asking for information on his probation, because it appeared Brown was not where he said he was supposed to be at the times it was reported he did community service.
Chris Brown is nominated for a Grammy Award for his album, "Fortune," while Rihanna is up for several awards Sunday night including an award for her collaborative track "Talk That Talk," featuring rapper Jay-Z. Rihanna is also scheduled for at least one solo performance, and then a collaborative performance with Sting and Bruno Mars.
