It’s an odd feud that could be a powder keg in the making. Miranda Lambert started off the feud by sharing that she doesn’t appreciate Chris Brown’s behavior, then she got louder. Then Chris Brown responded on Friday with several online messages. This unusual fight with two talented entertainers who have an axe to grind just might be more entertaining than the Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj verbal bashing and fans know it.
The feud started at the Grammys. Miranda Lambert didn’t appreciate seeing Chris Brown on stage after allegedly beating up Rihanna three years ago. Taking her voice to her platform, Lambert has been blasting Chris Brown in front of her fans ever since. It escalated on Thursday when she brought a sign to her concert that read “Take notes Chris Brown” and asked fans to take photos and put them online. Well, somebody put the sign online because Chris Brown responded, but he was careful to imply but not say her name, at least for the first message.
“Using my name to get publicity? I love it! Perform your heart out,” wrote Chris Brown on Friday implying that he saw Miranda Lambert’s sign. Then Brown followed up with another Twitter message, this time directly implying he knows Lambert is targeting him “Go buy @miranda_lambert album! So motivational and ‘PERFECT!’”
So what is going to happen next? Maybe Chris Brown and Miranda Lambert will find some common ground to talk this out, but don’t bet on that scenario. Most likely the two are going to get louder which will be amusing for the fans to watch.
