A recent episode of "Chopped" offered four more chefs an opportunity to compete for the $10,000 and the very elusive title of a champion in this episode where the chefs were given items in the three mystery boxes in this episode with an Australian influence titled, “G’day, Chefs!.”

The judges for this episode were: Aaron Sanchez, Chris Santos and John Li from Outback Steakhouse, with host, as always Ted Allen.

Competing in this episode are chefs; Patti Peck, chef and owner at the Beachwood Café, in Hollywood, California, Jason Netro, head chef at Papacitos in Brooklyn, New York, Cass Quinlan Ashford, chef and owner of a private chef service in Yonkers, New York and Peter Lemos, chef de cuisine at L&E Oyster Bar in Los Angeles, California.

The first round appetizer mystery box contained: Lamb Ribs, Rainbow Chard, Loaded Baked Potato and Cherry Moonshine. Jason made grilled lamb ribs with sautéed chard using cumin, chili powder and cream. Patti made seared lamb riblets with chard & herb salad using lemon, chives and basil. Peter made roasted lamb ribs with cherry pickled chard ribs using onions, dried cherries and buttermilk. Cass made oven-roasted lamb with chard & potato hash and vinaigrette using oregano, paprika and ginger. The chef eliminated in this round was Jason, who left out a few elements of his dish.

The entree round contained: Emu Fan Fillet, Australian Mustard, Vegetable Pasties and Moonshine. Peter made marinated emu filet using rosemary, ginger and vinegar. Cass made moonshine & mustard marinated emu with ragout using herbs, tomatoes and cannellini beans. Patti made emu & bacon meatballs with rice vermicelli noodles using shallots, apples and coconut milk. The chef who was "Chopped" in this round was Cass because of the inconsistencies of the three judge’s plates.

The dessert round included: Canned Cheddar Cheese, Wheat Biscuit Cereal, Guanciale, Apple Moonshine. Patti made apricot jam puff pastry using apricot jam, puff pastry and dried fruit. Peter made a deconstructed apple crumble using apples, brown sugar and white chocolate.

The winner of the $10,000 and "Chopped" champion was Patti Peck, who will use the money to start a bread co-op for women who need some guidance in their lives. Congratulations!
