Last night’s episode of "Chopped" offered four teenagers that love to cook an opportunity to compete for $25,000 and a $40,000 culinary scholarship plus the very elusive title of teen champion. Faced with mystery baskets of strange ingredients, they must create something that will appeal to the judges and also show off their culinary skills and creativity in the appetizer, entree and dessert rounds.
The judges for this episode are: Chris Santos, Alex Guarnaschelli and special guest judge Alex Stupak. The host, as always is Ted Allen.

The first round appetizer mystery box contained: Salsa Verde, Chicken Breast, Bundled Lunch Kits and Blue Corn Tortilla Chips. Jake made deconstructed Mexican chicken nachos using soy sauce, sriracha and Worcestershire. Antonio made turmeric chicken with chocolate pudding mole using eggs and white wine. Sequoia made chicken tacos with queso fresco using tomatoes, sour cream and cilantro. Morgan made chicken ravioli with salsa verde reduction using flour, eggs and garlic. The teen who was eliminated was Antonio whose chicken was undercooked, and all plates were not complete.
The entree round contained: Buffalo Tenderloin, Couscous, Rainbow Chard and Squeezable Blueberry Yogurt. Jake made seared buffalo tenderloin with red wine couscous using basil, lemon and coconut milk. Sequoia made seared buffalo tenderloin using red wine, garlic and butter.
