Last night's episode of "Chopped" offered four more chefs an opportunity to compete for the $10,000 and the very elusive title of a champion in this episode where the chefs were given items in the three mystery boxes in this episode titled, “Cool, Palm and Perfected”

The judges for this episode were: Scott Conant, Maneet Chauhan and Geoffrey Zakarian and the host, as always is Ted Allen.

Competing in this episode are: David James Robinson, executive chef and owner of Bezalel Gables, home of the Culinary Command program, helping military veterans and their families readapt to civilian life. Private chef Ariane Resnick from Hollywood, Calif., Peter Lee, executive chef and owner of Pete’s Catering Company in Orange County, Calif. and Rose Ludwig, chef and instructor in Le Cordon Bleu in Los Angeles.

The first round appetizer mystery box contained: Pupusas, Blowfish Tails (non-toxic), Black Beans and Horchata Liqueur. Peter made tempura blowfish tail with black bean puree using soda water, paprika and curry powder. Rose made sautéed blowfish tail in horchata marinade using red wine vinegar, onions and tomatoes. Ariane made cumin & pupusa blowfish tail using cumin, garlic and onion. David made pupusa encrusted blowfish tail using lime and shallots. The chef eliminated from the first round was David, whose fish was overcooked and the pupusa did not adhere to the fish.

The entree round contained: Salami, Date Palms in Brine, Chicken Breast and Canned Pumpkin. Ariane made chicken roulade using asparagus and paprika. Peter made saltimbocca with pumpkin puree and sautéed spinach using sage, onion and spinach. Rose made grilled chicken with sautéed potatoes using onion and rosemary. The chef who was "Chopped" in this round was Ariane, who used too much dressing on her salad and the salami was overpowering.

The dessert round included: Basil Juice, Bananas, Coconut Butter and Jordan Almonds. Rose made strawberry-banana napoleon with basil-mint pastry cream using phyllo dough, eggs and cognac. Peter made microwave sponge cake with bananas foster using raspberries, cinnamon and ground ginger.

The winner of the $10,000 and "Chopped" champion was Rose, who will take her mother to Ireland in appreciation for helping her through her cancer therapy.
