Let's start out with the musical that has the most hit songs in the history of Broadway, "Motown". There will never be a Broadway musical with this many hits, because the music is all Berry Gordy's best of "Motown" songs throughout his entire life. The true life story is shared through "Motown" music, the hit songs that brought America together. You will see one of our favorite stars N'kenge (Mary Wells), who has given back to fund arts education programs around the nation. "Motown" offers cast members that play multiple stars from The Jackson Five, Diana Ross, Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson, and many more. Another Theatre Chat favorite Krisha Marcano (Susan Dupass) who you will remember from "The Color Purple" joined our presenters for The 2013 Broadway Global Producer of the Year, with The Haves and The Have Nots star Angela Robinson. "Motown" is a top pick, you won't find another story with this many true characters in one Broadway musical. The Broadway Global 2013 choice for best direction, Charles Randolph Wright. The music and choreography will have you dancing in the streets.

"The Bridges of Madison County" has the best score and vocal stars of the 2014 Broadway season, with Kelli O'hara and Steve Pasquale. "Kinky Boots" has Broadway's 2013 Tony Award winning Actor Billy Porter, the man with the golden voice and vocal range. "Maltilda" stars Olivier Award winning Actress Lesli Margherita (Zorro) and the "Matilda" is breathtaking delight from script to choreography. "Book of Mormon" offers a chance for "same day lottery tickets" and is one of the funniest hit Broadway musicals in history. "Pippin" is still the best revival in years for Broadway. Don't forget the full list of hit straight plays like "Mothers and Sons"starring Tyne Daly.

Tony Award winning Actor Jefferson Mays has a dead on chance for another 2014 Tony nomination, staring in "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder". Don't read the Playbill till after intermission, just be surprised. "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" wins Broadway fans over for the most clever hit musical comedy of the season. The most explosive musical"After Midnight" offers the best 2014 choreography to date, with the best tap choreography since "Jelly's Last Jam". "After Midnight" is a sure bet at the Tony Awards for Best Orchestrations. "Newsies" still captures us with the family hit musical and the best Tony Award winning choreography in years. Don't forget Disney's "Aladdin" is about to take that magic carpet ride to Broadway in March 2014. Are you ready for "A Whole New World" or the new added song "Proud of Your Boy"?

The shows that are still standing at the top of box office sales are "The Lion King" and our all time favorite "Wicked". "Rocky" gives you Broadway's biggest ending and love does win. Andy Karl and Margo Seibert may have to fight for best Broadway couple with "The Bridges of Madison County", but it's a knock down hit musical for Broadway finale! If you are trying to save a few dollars or see a few shows, don't miss Broadway Global's off-Broadway top musical comedy of the season Seth Rudetsky's "Disaster".
