Choices: Would Your Teen Make The Right One?

Scenarios Book One Truth or Dare

Nicole O’Dell is an Author of a book series entitled “Scenarios.” Nicole has a very strong passion to help our teenagers. Our teenagers are faced with many difficult decisions. Each of her Scenarios books put a teenager in a difficult position, with a serious decision to make. Do they make the right choice or the wrong choice? You the reader are in control as these are interactive books. If you want or believe the character will choose one way you continue reading. Should you feel they may take a different path, you move to another section of the book and continue.

We all know that these scenarios are completely accurate. In this particular book entitled “Truth or Dare” four teenagers on their weekly sleepovers begin to play this game. As grown-ups we know this game all too well. Many have played this game themselves as a teenager. All starts out good with dares such as rearranging where everything is in the kitchen cabinets, to leaving a message on the answering machine of a boy one of them likes. That is until one night when one of the girls is asked to do something that she knows is wrong. Teenagers have a strong sense of wanting to belong and when faced with a decision that could make her lose her friends what will she do? What do you think your teen might do? Do you feel that your teen would be able to walk away or do you think they would make that instant decision that could forever change their life?

In these wonderful books such as the aforementioned, your teen or you can choose what the character does. Personally, I could not put this book down, very curious as to what would happen with each choice. You are in the driver’s seat and get to choose. Should you choose for her to make what is the right choice, does she lose her friends? What are the consequences of this action for her? If you take the forbidden path what does that mean for her? Will her parents ever forgive her? Has she lost her friends for good? Will her path be changed forever or has it shown her a whole different road to follow?

Due to the fact, that I believe this is a must read book, for your teen and yourself, I will not give away any of the major details of what happens. You will have to click on the link  Scenarios 1: Truth or Dare (Scenarios for Girls) to buy your copy today. This way you can choose the path for yourself.

Our teens are constantly faced with daily decisions of what to do or say in situations. It is up to us parents to make sure we have been communicating and teaching them right and wrong, so we can feel safe that they will make that right choice and not lose trust.  We hope that when faced with difficult choices, such as the teen in this book, and many other choices they will have in their paths, they will make us proud and do the right thing.

Sounds great! I loved Choose Your Own Adventure books growing up, and a more realistic one that helps guide teens sounds fantastic.
