Chocolate heaven in a wine bottle

See also

Two of the best things that have ever been invented are CHOCOLATE and WINE. Imagine the two together. I’m not talking about a glass of wine served with chocolate, but wine and chocolate infused together. That’s what you get when you try RED Decadence Chocolate Red Wine, a dark chocolate-laced red wine from Washington. Get ready to experience chocolate heaven.

The best way to describe the decadent flavor of this wine is listed right on the label - “liquid chocolate truffles in a bottle.” I’ve tried the creamier versions of chocolate wine that look like chocolate milk, so I was a little surprised when I poured it and the wine was deep red with a dark brown undertone.

The first thing that hits you is the smell. It’s like you’ve been transported to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, and then all of a sudden you are standing in a field of grapevines. Can it get any better than that? I think not.

The taste is sweet, but not too sweet. Picture yourself eating a Tootsie Roll, then sipping a glass of sweet red wine, then chew the Tootsie Roll, then another sip of the wine. It’s basically a chocolate-wine party in your mouth.

You can find RED Decadence Chocolate Red Wine at Total Wine & More for $10.99 for a 750ml bottle. They also carry RED Decadence Chocolate Raspberry Wine.

It’s not something you would want to gulp down, so sip slowly and enjoy!

Salute!
