Love her or hate her, you've got to give 13-year-old actress Chloe Moretz points for enthusiasm.
She's spoken previously about her excitement for The Hunger Games movie adaptation, currently in the early stages of pre-production at Lionsgate.
She now tells MTV that she would "absolutely die to be in 'The Hunger Games.'"
But has the young actress even read the books, or has she simply heard the hype?
"I'm like halfway through the first book right now. It's pretty good; I'm really loving it," Moretz told MTV.
Of course, fans are divided on their opinons about Moretz. Some want her nowhere near the franchise, while some concede that she could, perhaps, play Prim. And others think, despite her young age, she could handle the role of 16-year-old heroine Katniss Everdeen.
Moretz told MTV she thinks she's up to the task: "I'm cool with Katniss. I think I could pull off Katniss, don't you?"
You can watch MTV's full interview with Moretz in the video to your left.
So Hunger Games fans what do you think? Could Moretz pull off Katniss? What about one of the other characters in The Hunger Games? Share your thoughts in the comments.

NEVER.
I would prefer that unknowns get most of the parts in the movie, so that the audience doesn't have preconceived notions of the movie and its actors before they even step into the theater.
I would love to play Katniss. I have been in theater productions since I was little, and as soon as I read the first book, I felt very connected to the character. I am Katniss-age with dark hair, and if I got the part, or an audition, I would work very hard to make sure I portrayed her accurately. My recent pictures can be found at this link http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?pid=200141&o=all&op=1&v.... Do you think I look like Katniss? Thank you!
I think she could play Prim. But she's too young to be Katniss...
