According to HELLO!, Copperfield recently introduced his French fiancée, 28-year-old Gosselin, a model and designer, and mother to the couple’s three-year-old daughter, Sky. The two have been dating for six years, the same amount of time he dated his former love, Claudia Schiffer in the 1990s.
For now, his heart is with his new love. When the topic of Schiffer came up in the interview, Copperfield turned up the volume on Gosselin. “Oh, that was a long time ago. Now I'm engaged and in a committed relationship with Chloe in my mind and my heart.” The bride-to-be appears equally in love, gushing, “I'm so lucky to have found David. There are very few people in the world like him. He's spent more than 30 years at the top of his profession. He's achieved some extraordinary things.”
She continued, “People come up to him, tell him they admire him, that he's a role model for them – and he just smiles, because he's truly modest. It's as if he doesn’t realise how smart he is, the talent that he has.”
Gosselin also opened up about the couple’s relationship on Oprah Winfrey’s “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” in July 2012, telling the talk show host, the birth of daughter Sky has “changed everything,” E! News reports. “It's the best experience watching her grow. She's amazing.”
While Copperfield is engaged to his new fiancée in his “mind and [his] heart,” he did admit to Oprah that he was “afraid” to get married. At the time, Gosselin did not mind her man’s commitment issues, telling Oprah, “We have a kid, the biggest commitment, I don't really mind.”
Copperfield is one of the most famous entertainers in the with world, grossing a reported $4 billion dollars. “The greatest compliment I receive is when my magic inspires people to go for their dreams – to make magic with their own lives,” the magician told HELLO! magazine.
