It that time of year again. Where the hustle and bustle of the holiday season even causes the youngest of shoppers to grow a few gray hairs. In the midst of it all the one thing that plagues our minds is, what to get that special someone that they wont immediately return or let gather dust in the back of their closets for years. Not only that but, the stress of holiday finances can ensure the holiday season to, at times, not be so jolly. Well, one way to ensure a happy holiday is to spend it away from it all. It may seem a little unconventional to spend the holidays away from family and friends, but kicking back and letting someone do the dirty work can be worth the nasty phone calls you'll get from grandma.

All cruise lines offer Christmas cruises where passengers with spend their holiday at sea. Cruise lines continue to pride themselves on their ability to provide passengers with an fun and exciting atmosphere, and Christmas is no exception. Passengers with find themselves surrounded by lights, Christmas trees, and on Disney surrounded by Christmas themed characters. Don't worry about those traditions of Christmas dinner they have that covered too. On Christmas most cruise lines offer a full Christmas spread to cruisers in their formal dining room served by a staff offering holiday cheer and blessing to cruisers and their families. Just like any other cruise passengers can expect the same amenities including but certainly not limited to the pool, full bar service, and photographers all around the ship offering families a perfect picture for purchase to paste onto those Christmas cards. In some cases cruisers can expect holiday themed shows, carolers around the ship, and Santa hats to top it all off. Don't forget to let the little ones know Santa can find them. Even in the middle of the ocean.

Just like any special occasion cruise passengers can expect to pay a little more for theses dates than for other dates, but if cruisers want to spend their Christmas being waited on by excellent staff then the extra money can be well worth it. So who will be spending their Christmas under the mistletoe in paradise this year?
