The toy drive began very early Thursday morning at Walgreens in Long Beach at the corner of Willow Street and Pacific Avenue despite freezing temperatures.

For each new unwrapped toy donation raffle tickets will be given out to those for a chance to win a variety of gift prizes and two special tickets to the Jay Z Magna Carter World Tour at Staples Center on Monday, Dec. 9. Winners will be contacted the following day after Thursday's toy drive.

All Walgreens stores from now until Dec. 15 will continue to accept new unwrapped toys as a generous donation to help children who are less fortunate to enjoy a wonderful holiday season.
