Chipotle Mexican Grill, noted for its emphasis on sustainably raised and hormone-free ingredients, is giving students in six high schools across the country to win prom after-parties for up to 500 guests.
To enter, students must text PROM to 888222 by March 31.
Winners receive a catered party from Chipotle for up to 500 people and a photo booth at their high school’s after-prom event. One hundred runners-up will receive a free dinner for 10 people at any Chipotle's location.
High schools attended by the winners must be within 15 miles of a Chipotle location. With seven Chipotles in the immediate Charlotte area, most of the city and county high schools qualify.
Winners must also secure written permission from both the prom after-party organizers and the venue approving the party plans.
Chris Arnold, director of communications at Chipotle, says the prom after-party give-away is inspired by the strong support the restaurants receive from high school students thanks to the chain's dedication to organic and locally sourced foods used in its products. “This year we are excited to give our high school customers the chance to throw their peers the ultimate after-prom celebration.”
For those who do not win the big prize, but would like to serve an all-natural Mexican spread to their guests, the Charlotte area Chipotles offer burritos by the box for groups of six or more. You can choose chicken, steak, barbacoa, carnitas, or vegetarian burritos, or get an assortment, all packed into a convenient box, along with chips, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Advance ordering is not required.
