Chip Kelly rumored to tell DeSean Jackson he's not being traded

According to a report by Bleeding Green Nation on March 19 it has been rumored that Chip Kelly has reassured DeSean Jackson that he won't be traded this off-season.

However, according to updated information from radio host Ike Reese, this is not true. Kelly hasn't gotten back around to talking to Jackson despite his attempts to get a hold of him about these trade rumors because he's too busy right now with the free agency.

While reassurance would ultimately be helpful for DeSean by enabling him to keep his head in the game and not worrying about whether or not he's leaving the Eagles, it would also be a bit unreasonable for Kelly to trade Jackson because one of the best players on the team. Unless he were getting a really great deal, it just doesn't seem worth the trade.

There has been a lot of offers made for Jackson since the beginning of March, but currently none were good enough to be considered because he is still on the team, for the time being. Tim McManus reports that Chip Kelly has always been really great about taking his guys aside and having a quick one-on-one with them before adding new players to the team that will play in their position, or before a possible trade, so it's out of character that he hasn't talked to DeSean Jackson at all and told him one way or another what is going on.

Should the Eagles trade DeSean Jackson or should they keep him on the team?
